When you are down in the dumps and tired and feel that nothing is working, it is SOOOO fantastic to receive a phone call from some special people who are encouraging and supportive. It lifts your spirits and re-motivates you as you are reminded afresh about your "WHY"
Why are you doing what you do? Who are you doing it all for?
So now refreshed and refocussed...
Pressing on to the next level!
In my time of reflection this morning I had been thinking about the trees that grow by the river. Their roots go down into the soil and draw water and nourishment to help them to grow. They have seasons of fruitfulness, and the times when they appear to be unfruitful are actually the times where they are resting, and taking time out to be rejuvenated, to become yet more fruitful! We need to take the time to be refreshed and nourished to enable us to keep going. Time out to reflect and to refresh is vital to help you stay on track! And to also keep fresh and be energised with new ideas and thoughts. If we keep on the same track year in and year out, we become stale and stagnant. Time out is so precious, so regroup, and re-focus on your goals.
Plan and take time out to organise and create strategies.... success is coming!
Implementation of the plan will see results..
Persistence is the key, if at first you don't succeed then try, try, try again! it is always good to read stories where people have not succeeded at first and then, due to persistence and determination, they have pulled through and reached the stars! What a fantastic feeling, to stand on the mountain top and admire the view! The sense of achievement and the taste of victory are sweet. My goal will always be to help others to climb to the top, as it is in supporting and encouraging others, that success comes all the sweeter! My heart swells with pride in seeing my mentees achieve and gain more than what they thought they could! To see the joy and delight in their faces is wondrous to behold!
It is like to old saying: give a man a fish, he will eat for the day, teach him to fish and he will eat for life!
