Ok you might be saying, this year has not really been one that I am proud of.
But then you look back and realise all the good things that have happened! All the things that you have managed to get done! It is time to count your blessings and to realise that LIFE matters!
Now resolve to make THIS YEAR your best yet!
Set your goals, dream your dreams and put plans into ACTION!!!
It's not good having hopes and dreams, if you do not plan and take action!
So let's get started!
Write out you plans for this NEW YEAR, make them doable, but stretch yourself a bit!
Learn as much as you can, and change your mindset if you need to. Blockages from the past can hold you back, be determined that THIS year, they will not be doing that!!!
Don't let others influence you negatively.
Be determined that you will make a difference to your own life as well as to those around you.
Determination and persistence are KEYS to VICTORY!
One other thing that is VERY IMPORTANT:
Cultivate your relationship with JESUS CHRIST!
Three keys that you need to have to make this year an amazing year:
Humility
Intimacy with God
Authority, knowing you are a Child of God!!
Be equipped and expectant that THIS IS YOUR YEAR!!
Be mightily blessed and be a blessing wherever you are!

AFFIRMATION
When someone greets you and thanks you for your posts it makes you feel good, right?
Well it certainly does me. I am humbled and astounded when I hear how far reaching my posts travel too! I suppose in this day and age of instant social media I shouldn't really be surprised, but when it's stuff that I personally have put out there, I still am amazed at how many people are encouraged by these messages!
So it just goes to show that you never know how far your messages are travelling, or how many people have been touched by things that you have said or written!
I love it when I know that someone has been positively influenced to be a better person, because I have taken steps to put the message out there!
One of my earlier stories of being a counsellor was when I was helping an 8 year old child find her feet, due to lack of self confidence she had had some personal issues. So I challenged her to make an affirmation collage, and helped her cut out some of the things she wanted to add in to her picture. This exercise took some time, and she thoughtfully placed all her pictures and words onto her card. Finally with a small contented sigh, she sat back and looked at me and smiled. I then invited her to explain what each word or picture meant to her, and why. She went through several pictures, and expressed her appreciation of her parents and family as well as some things from her school. There was a picture of a flowering cherry tree. So I asked her why she had chosen this picture... she replied "Because I am blossoming!" I was thrilled at her insight, and asked her permission to share this insight with her mum. She was pleased to share this revelation, and since then she has progressed out of sight!!
The power of positive thinking and mindset is enormous! We do not realise what might be holding us back until we take time with a professional, or someone who can help us see something that may have been staring at us in the face! Wow, sometimes it is so hard to see the wood for the trees!
Today it is a great time to reflect and look back over the last twelve months, and see how far you have come! What obstacles have you been able to overcome? What triumphs do you have to share? Celebrate the fact that you have changed and grown over this last year, and plan for more growth and development in the coming year! Life is worth living to the MAX!

EVERYSTEP COUNTS
Learning how to operate a business and the intricacies of the internet to promote and get the word out, takes time!
Out there in the big wide world, there are so many issues, and there is so much to learn! It never ceases to amaze me how rapidly technology is advancing, and yet how slow we are to learn from our mistakes.
Over and over again, we see throughout the course of history, that man constantly makes the same mistakes! You would have thought by now, that we might have learnt how to share and be responsible for the world resources. Yet, our poor planet is in a spin! Our coral reefs are dying, every year we lose more of our fauna and flora. What will be left for our grandchildren?
Peace is elusive, slavery continues, despite all the efforts of Wilberforce and his supporters. Families are deteriorating, marriage is not held as strongly as in previous generations... Mental health appears to be becoming yet more of an issue, with so many suffering in every niche of society. Suicide is on the increase...
Yet, despite all the doom and gloom, there is HOPE!
There are many who are making a success from the internet and social media! There are huge gains to be made, if you look and take the time to do your research! Quite literally, there are fortunes to be made. There are also very generous entrepreneurs who are donating there time and money in support of those less fortunate! Roger Federer is one who has recently been cited as the supporter and builder of many schools in Africa. There are many others who are also doing their bit to help transform lives.
Every small bit matters. As the small boy said to his father, "I am making a difference to this one, and to this one." As he threw the starfish that had been stranded on the seashore, back into the sea. Every dollar counts, every life impacted makes a difference.
To all those who are able to do something, well done. If we all step out and do a little something, it will all add up to a big SOMETHING!
We can make a difference, one step at a time!
