LEARNING CURVES

From the day you were born, you have been learning new things on a daily basis!

As you grew and developed as a child, you learnt the feel of different fabrics, you learnt different colours, sounds became fascinating as you learnt the vibrations from different notes. Your world expanded as you explored and uncovered new things! New discoveries were occurring almost by the minute! As your horizons grew, so did your understanding. Your inquisitive mind longed to know more!

Then you started to go to school: you met new people, had new teachers and again your horizons broadened. You discovered new books, new things to think about, you met different kinds of people..who were not like those at home!

Today we have learnt once again about the horrors of war, and the huge sacrifice of so many from all the countries involved in the conflict. The haunting notes of the Last Post hung in the air, as we all reflected on the loss of so many young people...

so that we can live in relative "freedom".

I am grateful that we live now in this day and age where we can enjoy our wonderful homeland. The sun shone between the showers, highlighting the hills beyond our local memorial.

We are longing for the cry of "Freedom" to ring out again over our land..as I think that there are many still locked in prisons of their own. Many struggle with issues and situations where freedom is limited through one reason or another. We are closely watched by CCTV, more than any other country in the world! Some try to speak up, and are pushed down again. We still need to raise our voices to speak up for those who are unable to express their opinions.

Let us prepare the surrounding countryside, the local villages and towns for a breakthrough experience, that there may truly be freedom from oppression and from negativity.

Press on, never give up!
